The club field is located on the southern end of the Lake County Landfill and supports a 500ft x 45ft Geo-fabric runway that runs east-west with pilots facing north when flying.
A permanent shelter was added this year. The current flying site has been graciously provided by the Parks & Recreation Department of Lake County and the Lake County Landfill.
New this year is our "Off Grid Power". Providing DC power for charging station, and AC power for installed ceiling fans, and other electronics use! Please review the Operating Practice below.
Please do not use AC power for battery charging!

From the north (US-441)- Take US-441 to FL-19 South in Tavares. In approximately 2 miles, turn left onto CR 561 (sign to Astatula).
In 2.4 miles, turn right onto Frankies Road (0.75 miles south of the intersection of CR 561 and Cr 448 and just past Lake County Animal Control).
Head west on Frankies Road 0.14 miles (750’) to the gate located on the north side of road.
From the south (US-27, CR-455, CR-48) - Turn north toward Tavares on CR 561.
Approximately 3.2 miles north of CR 48 in Astatula, turn left onto Frankies Road (just before Lake County Animal Control.)
Head west on Frankies Road 0.14 miles (750’) to the gate located on the north side.
